developing equipment commonly known as minilabs. Noritsu
is responsible for supporting its minilabs at customer sites
throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Due to the tremendous
growth in the digital photo-processing industry, Noritsu
has experienced an increasing support burden associated
with maintaining uptime of the computers that operate the
minilabs. Specifically, computers suffering from software
corruption required an on-site visit from a service technician
to manually reload software and restore system functionality.
